PROJECT BACKGROUND

After 2018, most people were familiar with the cultural phenomenon that was Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War. For those who aren’t, [SPOILERS!] the film ends with the antagonist turning half of humanity into dust with the snap of his fingers.

The impact on the Marvel Cinematic Universe was gargantuan, but so far, it has still been contained to just two movies. A lot of fans were asking—what was happening elsewhere, in the many TV shows that Marvel also has taking place concurrently?

This photo manipulation was a tongue-in-cheek response for Marvel’s Defenders series on Netflix, where we see two of the four stars turning into dust. If you weren’t paying attention, that’s exactly half of them—perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Fun fact—Matt Murdock, who is blind, is having a very inappropriate reaction at the situation. If he had the gift of sight, it might help him see the gravity of the situation…
