PROJECT BACKGROUND

If you know me, you know that I’m a bit of a geek—having grown up with tons of video games and comic books.

One particular memory that stands is Super Smash Bros., a fighting game crossover that featured all of Nintendo’s top characters. Growing up, I played countless hours with my brother, cousins, friends, and even in high school tournaments.

The game is now on its fourth sequel, and while me and my brother don’t play games together nearly as often as we used to, I couldn’t help but get excited for a rematch that was many years in the making. With plenty of high-res assets available on the web, I decided to make a boxing match-styled poster for us, featuring our respective favorite characters (and colors). And from there, the fight was on!
